What is Reiki?

 

Reiki, which means "universal life energy" in Japanese, is based on the belief that life force energy flows through all living things. When this energy is low, we are more susceptible to illness and stress. Reiki aims to boost this energy, helping you achieve harmony and well-being.

 

How Does Reiki Work?

During a Reiki session, I gently place my hands on or above specific areas of your body to channel healing energy. Sometimes referred to as a "touchless massage", Reiki promotes deep relaxation, reduces stress, and enhances the body's natural ability to heal itself. 

What to Expect in a Reiki Session


Reiki sessions typically last between 20 and 90 minutes. You'll lie down fully clothed on a comfortable table while I connect with the Universal Life Force energy. This life force energy flows through me and throughout your body.  Many clients experience sensations of warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation during their sessions. When the experience is complete, many feel a deep calm and overall sense of well-being.
